Ive been getting back into practicing yoga and I am inspired to study the body and different postures in proper alignment... the lotus posture is slightly off oops.. oh and my acoustic guitar too, damn they are tough to get right!

Kitten Napping

We got two super cute kittens a few months ago. There are so many perfect moments to sketch them while they are napping and it must be done quickly before they move. This is Sophie napping with Daniel. I think a 6B pencil.

Partially Digested Yosemite

I took lots of good photos while in yosemite the november before last and some great memories that are still very vivid. That place has so much going on landscape wise that its a little overwhelming to try and paint plein air. I would love to visit again soon with more practice under my belt now and get some fresh effects!

This is painted from memory and a photo taken at the beginning of spring in Indian Valley on the COM campus where we bought most of our plants for the garden. Oil on 20/60 inch canvas.

This is a freehand pen sketch of one of my good friends and roommates Daniel Ross harvesting potatoes in the backyard. He's a voice actor and a good singer too. The garden has been very fruitful this year, squash, kale, potatoes, green peas and now broccoli. More pen sketches soon...
